I have to thank you, thank you and thank you again for writing this beautiful piece. I searched
last night slowing down mania and found you. It brought me to a place where I could
slow down enough to sleep last night after being wired to the max and fearing another trip to the hospital. Now I can look at the anger and fear that was driving me there. I can rest and breathe like Darth Vader while feeling like Princess Leya. Thank you Obe Wan Kenobi.

Each journey, begins with but a single tought (step)... the only "hurdle", is FEAR of CHANGE, and FEAR of the UNKNOWN...

Regardless of our age and life experience... we THINK we KNOW who we ARE... and WHAT we're ABOUT... and WHERE we are GOING (or, MUST go)!!!

When, in REALITY... we've been FOCUSED so much on "THINGS" ouside of our own self...MATERIALISM and MATERIAL WEALTH and "other" distractible things... Example: how OTHERS perceive us... that we KNOW little to nothing of whom or what we really are... at any given time!!!

Meditation, can be a great TOOl... to CHANGING all of that...

Spirituality helps too... though, conversations about religeon and theologies... (things we use to "define" ourselves, based on dogma ((What is god? Am I a good Christian? etc, etc)); have a tendency to GET in the WAY... of, our TRUE identity... as well as, SEPARATE us into "catagorized" thinkers and believers... in our own individual dogmatic interpretations... rather than DRAW us together... into a cohesive whole!!! (As if, there WEREN'T ENOUGH lables already used to separate, categorize, define, and identify us... for the mere sake of CONTROL and FINANCIAL GAIN!!!)

Even Perls, in his infinite wisdom; sucumbed to the "weakness" of the flesh and body... (He died, of a massive rectal hemorrhage... talk about "stress induced" physical illness!!!) His FEAR of Medical Institutions, preventing him from seeking help; in the end!!! (Pun NOT intended!!!)

Also, there is our INSATIABLE QUEST for HAPPINESS; instead of ACCEPTANCE... of WHOM and WHAT we are... un-questionably and un-judgementally!!!

Another great book on this topic is called "The Way"- taken from the great Kabbalahists of Hebrew mystism. We are born for what I belive is really one goal. To help heal the world a person at a time.

I have chosen to wrap my life around Christ's message of Love. To be all for as many as possible, to have faith so deep nothing or no one can stop me. Finding the soul of myself is the key. I stopped looking out and starting looking in. I decided to unwrap all those teachings that take me away from the great Creator, I choose to call God. The words "The Kingdom of God is Within You" not without you.

Great thougths and directions. Have you read Frankl's book, Man's Search for Ultimate Meaning. It is about spirituality. I wrote a piece on it for our newsletter in the June 2011 issue located at <a href="http://www.prosumersinternational.org"target="_blank"rel=nofollow" rel="nofollow">ProsumerInternational that you might be interested in. I would like to request to reprint part of your article on how to mediate in our newsletter which is free. Thank you again for your thoughts
